AAMF Group

Our Group manages and looks after the commercial and private interests of the Funder and his family.

The AAMF Group was founded in 2019 by David MAO as single family office. The core competence of the AAMF Group is the investment management industry and the asset management.

Our Group includes a privately held family investment firm focused on and engaged in a broad range of investment activities. Our family office private investment firm is specialized in investments in both privately held companies and real estate.

Investment Philosophy

Our goal is to build a diversified portfolio positioned for long-term growth. Our investment philosophy is guided by our permanent capital base, which allows us to remain flexible, open-minded, and long-term oriented. We are comfortable investing across various asset classes.

While our principal investment activities are described below, we also possess the flexibility to invest in other opportunities and special situations as well.

Private Equity

Our private equity investments focus on operating companies with an established track record of profitable operations and growth. We structure transactions as both majority or minority stakes.

Our investment approach is based on a disciplined due diligence process that measures risk while identifying the catalysts for increased value.

The group pursues a long-term investment strategy based on diversification, both in terms of range of asset classes and number of positions within each asset class.

Real Estate

We aim to construct a portfolio of attractive real estate investments that have the potential for long-term real income growth.

Our current real estate activities are focused on multi-family and commercial real estate, in the framework in the framework of a strategy of adaptive reuse and new construction. These investments generally refer to acquisitions and developments of commercial buildings, in Europe, that offer a steady and recurring rental income.

​ We participate in real estate development projects in partnership with major local and international construction and real estate development companies. Of particular interest are plots of land in promising locations in countries and areas with strong predicted growth, particularly where we can choose whether to build or simply hold on and wait for the asset to appreciate in value.

There are currently numerous markets where unused, older buildings are making a real comeback through adaptive reuse. Not only do many of these buildings exist either in or close to preferred areas, some older buildings are treasured for their historic value, unique architecture, and their existence in very desirable locations. Skillfully executed adaptations of these older buildings can make them useful again in many ways, with some businesses even preferring to lease these types of buildings. As more buildings are being renovated and put back into active use, this is having a very positive effect on certain neighborhoods in urban areas, helping to increase the value and desirability of all local commercial real estate.​

In addition to our direct investments described above, we will also look to co-invest with other investment firms, family offices, or management groups that share our focus on providing long-term, patient capital.

We collaborate and liaise with an extensive network of service providers around the globe in the fields of fiduciary management, legal matters, custodianship, taxes, real estate, accounting, private equity and asset management. This network is being expanded on a continuous basis.
